On the Way to Becoming The Answer

 

  Originally, the following words were a heartfelt prayer written in the first pages of a 5 ½ x 3 ½ “Fat Lil’ Notebook” – never meant for human eyes. But the Lord has asked that I include this personal prayer. Your will be done, Lord. (October 28, 2016)

Later, the pages of the “Fat Lil’ Notebook” became the rough copies for the articles written that make up the contents of this www.BecomeTheAnswerToJesusPrayer.com website.

 

     Lord, it has been maybe 20 years since you first opened my eyes to Your prayer to the Father as recorded in John 17. You have continued to haunt my heart with those holy words all these years. You have faithfully pursued my being to seek the fulfillment of that prayer; making me to cry out in humble fear and trembling to be used by You, for You – for Your will.

     Now, daily, I wake each morning praying that only Your will be accomplished in my life. I fear to be foolish or natural in my faith; that I might deceive myself by doing something for You, in Your name, but not in Your will.

     Thank you, Lord, for revealing Matthew 7:21-23 to me. Protect me, Lord, from myself – and that You have done, especially in the last 20 years, by gently decreasing my physical abilities. Thus, You have made my heart seek You and rely on You more diligently – which I would never have done if I had remained in good physical health.

     You, Lord, are so merciful and so patient. Oh, Lord, may I continue to grow in diligence to seek Your face daily, to hear Your will and do it. Expose my unhealthy fear that is not of You so I do not hinder Your will.

     Over a year ago (May or June 2014), Lord, You spoke to my heart having me rewrite Ezekiel 37 with prophetic words expressing Your will for Your Body of believers on the earth. When finished, I trembled at Your words and the responsibility You had given me.

     Since that day I have sought, by every means, to discredit the truth of those prophetic words in the Light of all the Truth that You have given to us. Now, after 16 months, I have found nothing that would spiritually discredit the words of the Ezekiel 37 rewrite.

     Now I fear I may have waited past Your desired release to the world of these commanding words. Have mercy on me, Lord, if that is the case.

     So now, Lord, more than ever before, may my heart be in tune with Your guidance. Use me as You will, even above and beyond my endurance. Have no mercy on my natural weaknesses but crucify them quickly on my daily cross – for Your glory’s sake. Make me Your truth-bearer, even when those who are so much more learned than I come against me. Keep me sitting with You on Your throne; for it is there that I will be able to walk through the dark valley to stand against Your enemy. Set me on fire, Lord, that I may be consumed with Your vision, Your will, Your desire.

     Oh, Spirit of God, Spirit of Life, Spirit of Love, go before as You always do and prepare the hearts of Your chosen ones. Convict and empower them to be bold, brave and above all else, loving. Bless them, Lord, with Your undeniable presence and show them clearly who they are in You. Draw them together, Lord, like You’ve never done before, across the face of this earth. May the world become jealous of their love for one  another.  (written - September 21, 2015)

Rather than create another division in the body of Christ, www.BecomeTheAnswerToJesusPrayer.com is a call for all Christians to come together; a call for those followers of Jesus who desire to do and be living examples of God’s will; a demonstration to the principalities and powers in heavenly places and to the world, that we Christians stand in loving oneness regardless of our church affiliation; a demonstration that being in Christ’s life results in caring first and foremost for our Lord’s will – to love Him and to love one another.

It is a call for us to learn and practice loving one another by the power and life of God’s Spirit of Love. It is a call for us to simply spend time together which in turn will enable the Lord’s life in us to live through us for the perfecting of His Body through love.

 

     Becoming the answer to the Lord’s prayer in John 17 will never be flashy or fleshy; but it will be attractive. Answering the Lord’s prayer for loving oneness will fulfill the deepest needs for mankind’s purpose and satisfaction in life on earth. Doubts will disappear. All things good and bad will have meaning and purpose. As we, the Lord’s children, learn to live by God’s essence (the Tree of Life) and God’s love (God’s essence), our purpose and resolve will be the envy of the lost world and the glory our Lord and Father desire.

 

 

 

God’s Move To Unite His People

by the empowerment of the Spirit of Love

as portrayed in a prophetic adaptation of Ezekiel 37 -

Accomplished by everyday Christians obeying 7 commands of God;

thus fulfilling Jesus’ prayer to the Father in John 17.

 

1 The hand of the Lord came upon me and brought me out in the Lord’s Spirit of love, and set me down in the middle of a neighborhood; and it was full of unconnected Christian neighbors.  2 Then He commanded me to pass among the neighborhoods throughout the whole world, and behold, there were multitudes of Christian neighbors; and indeed they were spiritually unconnected.  3 And He said to me, “Everyday Christian, can these unconnected Christian neighbors come alive to love?”  So I answered, “O Lord God, You know.”  4 Again He said to me, “Speak my words to these Christian neighbors and say to them, ‘O spiritually unconnected Christians, hear the word of the Lord!  5 Thus says the Lord God to the unconnected neighbors; truly I will cause my Spirit of Love to enter into you, and you shall become my loving body of faithful followers.  6 I will put my connecting tendons and ligaments on you, bring muscles on you, cover you with skin and put my Spirit of Love in you; and you shall become my loving body of faithful followers.  Then you shall know that I am the Lord.’ “   7   So I spoke God’s words as I was commanded; and as I spoke His words, there were suddenly the sounds of knocking and doors opening; and the spiritually unconnected Christian neighbors came together, neighbor to their neighbor.  8 Indeed, as I looked the connecting tendons and ligaments and muscles came on them and the skin covered over them; but there was no Spirit of Love in them.  9  Also, He said to me, “Speak to the Spirit of Love, speak, everyday Christian, and say to the Spirit of Love, ‘Thus says the Lord God: Come from the four winds,  O Spirit of Love, breath God’s love into these spiritually unconnected, that they may become my loving body of faithful followers. ‘”  10 So I spoke as He commanded me, and the Spirit of Love came into them, and they were empowered to love, and stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great testimony of love.  11 Then He said to me, “Everyday Christian, these members are my body.  They indeed say, ‘Our ability to love is dead, our hope is lost, and we are separated from our Christian neighbors!’  12 Therefore speak and say to them, “Thus says the Lord God: Behold, O My people, I will open your unloving fearful hearts and free you from your fears, and free you to live the loving Christian life.  13 Then you shall know that I am the Lord, when I have opened your unloving fearful hearts, O My people, and freed you from your fears.  14 I will put my loving Spirit in you, and you shall love one another, and I will place you in your own family of loving Christian neighbors.  Then you shall know that I, the Lord, have spoken it and performed it.”   15   Again the word of the Lord came to me, saying, 16   “As for you, everyday Christian, take your Bible and write on it: ‘For all Christian believers and their families in the Northern hemisphere.’  Then take another Bible and write on it, ‘For all the Christian believers and their families in the Southern hemisphere.’  17 Then bring together the two Bibles to reveal one Book, and all believers will become one in your hand.  18 And when God’s people ask you, saying, ‘Won’t you show us what you mean by this?’ -  19 say to them, “Thus says the Lord God: Surely I will take the testimony of love among the Christian believers and their families in the Northern hemisphere; and I will join them with the testimony of love among the Christian believers and their families in the Southern hemisphere, and make of them One Testimony, and they will be one in My hand.”    20   and the Bible from which you read will be in your hand before their eyes.  21  Then say to them,  “Thus says the Lord God: Be assured I will take the Christian believers of the world from among the world’s neighborhoods, wherever they live, and gather them from every street and bring them into a loving, Christ-filled, family relationship;  22  and I will make them one loving family within the neighborhoods,  an uplifted example of My loved ones; and Jesus alone shall be King over them all; they shall no longer be divided, nor shall they ever be divided again.  23 They shall not pollute themselves anymore with their worldly loves, nor with their worldly lusts, nor with anymore deceitful lies; but I will deliver them from all their self-centered living in which they have sinned, and will cleanse them.  Then they shall be my people, and I will be their God.  24 Jesus, my Son, shall be King over them; and they shall all follow this One Great Shepherd:  they shall also walk in my ways and observe my will, and live the Christian life of love.  25 Then they shall live in the neighborhoods that I have given to them and their ancestors; and they shall live there, they, their children, and their children’s children, forever; and my Son, Jesus, shall be their Spirit of Love forever.  26 In addition, I will make a covenant of peace with them, and it shall be an everlasting covenant; I will connect them and multiply them, and I will set my presence in their midst forever.  27 My love also shall be with them; indeed I will be their God, and they shall be my people.  28 Also, the unsaved people of the world will know that I, the Lord, have made my followers holy, when my loving presence is in their midst forever.”

1.  (verses 1 – 3)  A command and vision given to the everyday Christian by God’s Spirit of Love.

2.  (verses 4 – 6) The Lord’s command to the everyday Christian to speak to the unconnected Christian neighbors.

3. (verses 7 – 8)  Out of fear or duty, Christian neighbors begin to seek one another out but without God’s love.

4.  (verse 9)  God’s command to the everyday Christian to call forth the Spirit of Love to indwell the Christian neighbors.

5.  (verse 10)  The everyday Christian calling forth the Spirit of Love for the empowering of Love.

6.  (verse 11)  Christian neighbors become aware of their lack of love.

7.  (verses 12 – 14)  The Lord God’s command to the everyday Christian to speak God’s promise to the fearful and unloving Christian neighbors.

8.  (verses 15 – 17)  The Lord’s command to the everyday Christian to demonstrate the results of the Spirit of Love’s empowering.

9.  (verses 18 – 20)  God’s command to the everyday Christian to speak of the One Testimony of Love worldwide.

10.   (verses 21 – 28)  The Lord God’s command to the everyday Christian to speak His promised covenant of Love to all His own and of its manifestation to the unbelieving world.

Jesus’ Prayer

 

     On the way to the Garden of Gethsemane with His disciples, Jesus stopped and prayed out loud to His Father.  This prayer is recorded in the Gospel of John, chapter 17.

 

     If ever there was a prayer to be answered by God, this is it.  As part of the Triune God, Jesus prays to the Father requesting action.  Earlier Jesus had stated he did and said only what the Father revealed to him.  So this prayer from Jesus’ lips is from the heart of God [John 8:28-29, 38a, 14:10b].

 

     The prayer in John 17 is the Triune God praying within themselves their will for all of God’s children both then and until the end of time.  Completely amazing! Before us is the desire of God’s heart; for both Him and us, in print, staring us in the face; no veils, no mysteries, no secrets.  God’s words are clearly and simply spoken for us to know and do.

 

     This is what our God wants and it requires our cooperation.  God wants us believers to Become the Answer to Jesus’ prayer – to Their prayer.

 

     Read the following portion of Jesus’ prayer in John 17, slowly, phrase by phrase, asking God to enlighten your heart and mind according to His will and   purpose:

 

     “I have given them Your word, and the world has hated them, because they are not of the world even as I am not of the world.  I do not ask that You would take them out of the world, but that You would keep them out of the hands of the evil one.  They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.  Sanctify them in the truth; Your word is truth.  As You have sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world.  And for their sake I sanctify Myself, that they themselves also may be sanctified in truth.  And I do not ask concerning these only, but concerning those also who believe into Me through their word, that they all may be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us; that the world may believe that You have sent Me.  And the glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, even as We are one; I in them, and You in Me, that they may be perfected into one, that the world may know that You have sent Me and have loved them even as You have loved Me.”  [John 17:14-23] 

 

 

God’s Call to All

 

God is pouring out His Spirit of Love  (Spirit of Jesus [1Cor. 15:45], Holy Spirit)         across the face of the earth.

 

God is calling to all who confess Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior to respond to His Spirit of Love.

 

Jesus prayed to the Father their heart’s desire (John 17:8, 21-23, 26b).

 

Become the answer to Their prayer; seek one another out in your neighborhoods, places of work, and schools.

 

Love, support, and encourage one another daily with the love God has placed in you.
